" The finite infinity"
Installation
Glass, mirrors, wood and light, 2m
x1m x2m
This work uses the play of coloured light and the infinite reflections created by mirrors that have been mounted opposite each other in a very small space. The combination of these elements makes viewing this piece a unique experience.

This installation was commissioned by the Rotor foundation for the art festival "Autor de Vincent" which commemorated the 150th anniversary of the birth of Vincent van Gogh in Zundert. 2003
It was placed in a caravan which was painted by Patries van Elsen
.
Light objects of coloured glass have been placed in the windows. Through
the windows it is possible to view the interior of the caravan which has
been covered with mirrors which also contain light objects.
